Symptoms you need a new top

  • Water leaking into the cabin around the windows or door surrounds
  • Cloudy, yellowed or cracked rear and quarter windows you can no longer see through
  • Torn seams, split fabric or zippers that jam or will not close
  • Wind noise and flapping at highway speed from stretched, sagging fabric

Workshop advice

  • Fit the top on a warm day, or leave it in the sun first. Warm fabric stretches into place far more easily than cold fabric.
  • Check your existing bows, brackets and door surround knobs before fitting. Worn or missing hardware makes a new top very hard to tension correctly.
  • Do not force the final zippers or clamps on a cold top, as this is how new tops get torn.
  • Install instructions are published by RT Off-Road for part RT10935T, worth printing before you start.

  • This top requires full steel doors. It will not suit a JK running tube doors or the half door setup.
  • 4 Door JK owners need the Unlimited version, not this one.

Will this fit my 2013 JK?
No. This top is listed for 2007-2012 JK 2 Door. The later JK tops use a different rear window and door surround arrangement.

Do I get the frame and bows with it?
No. This is the fabric top only and it reuses your existing hardware, bows and frame. Check those parts are complete and serviceable before you order.

Are the windows tinted?
Yes. The windows are 30 mil (approx. 0.76 mm) pressed polished with 31% tint.
