The Rubicon Express RE1466 is a pair of 2.5-inch wide x 4-degree aluminum pinion angle/degree shims. 
These shims are designed for leaf spring-equipped vehicles—most notably the 1987–1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ—to correct the rear pinion angle and prevent driveline vibrations after installing a suspension lift kit.

Application & Use
When you install a leaf spring lift kit (such as the standard Rubicon Express 4.0-inch YJ lift), the increased height changes the angle between your driveshaft and the rear differential. Inserting these shims between the leaf spring pack and the axle perch rotates the axle housing. This realigns the pinion shaft with the driveshaft, eliminating universal joint binding and driveline vibration.
