• RT-Offroad RT23009: This is a heavy-duty performance upgrade forged from premium 4340 Chromoly alloy steel. The material is heat-treated to yield roughly 30% higher tensile and torsional strength over a stock factory shaft
• RT-Offroad RT23009: Features rolled splines. Instead of cutting away metal (which creates structural stress points), rolling compresses the steel grains, preserving its integrity and making the splines vastly more resistant to stripping or shearing under high torque.

If you are replacing a broken shaft on a completely stock daily driver, the Crown 68004081AA is fine. However, if you are running larger tires (33" to 35"), have a front locker, or take your Jeep rock crawling, the RT-Offroad RT23009 is the obvious choice to prevent a future trail breakage
